Thank you for stopping by 🙂 Today I bring you the beautiful Bella with her Mommy and Daddy!!! I have been excited about this photo shoot for a long time for multiple reasons. Photographing family is so special for me. When a family member or friend trusts me with their photographs, I am overjoyed. I am so passionate about photography and what it all means to me. I cannot think of many moments that are better then watching a family or couple look at their photographs for the first time, seeing the emotion in their eyes and watching them cuddle as they view their slideshows for the first time 🙂 I usually tear up the second I see emotion on their faces. I feel like Santa, bringing joy and happiness to someones life for that period in time 🙂
My life is full of happiness and passion for my career and loved ones. I try to stay as happy as possible and I live for bringing happiness into the lives of others. I love showing people how I see them through my eyes. Even though I love helping others and making everyone feel great about themselves, it is something I often forgot to do for myself. I have taken about two weeks to slow down as much as I can. I have taken time to sit back and look at what I have accomplished in the last few years, and I cannot believe how much my life has changed. To everyone who has come into my life and allowed me to fulfill my passion and follow my dreams, I cannot thank you enough. I have not been this happy in a very long time. I work so hard and too hard for my own good, but it is because I love what I do so much. Photography and my career are on my mind all hours of the day. I am always thinking of new ways to excel and new ways to stay organized. Each client brings something new to my life, I learn new things and I have made some amazing friends along the way.
I sometimes forget that so many people have framed photographs in their homes, that I have taken throughout the years. Then when I go back to clients homes and see the photographs I have taken framed, I get goosebumps. Today when I dropped off photos at my cousins house, she pulled out her Engagement album. I got instant goosebumps, because here I am holding her beautiful daughter and looking through photographs I took of her and her Husband about five years ago when they started a new chapter in their lives. I have been able to photography my cousin who I love so much and create memories that she will cherish for the rest of her life. I saw how much my photography has changed and got excited thinking about where I will be in another five years 🙂
In 2005 I graduated from Photography School, I have been shooting every since. I have gone through so much to get to where I am today and I still have such a long journey ahead of me. All I know is the day I decided to take the risk and follow my dreams and make a career out of my passion … it was the best decision I ever made. I was so afraid and not sure if it was my calling. I went back and forth for a very long time and almost followed the career path that would never fulfil my heart. THANK goodness I went with my gut and took the risk. Hard work pays off and I am a huge believer in staying focused on creating my own happiness. This Blog gives me an opportunity to share so much of my life through photographs and words I have written on my Blog. I am so excited to look back in a year and read my Blog posts and see where my life was at this time 🙂
Now, back to the photographs I am posting today 🙂
A lot of changes are happening with my career, and I have A LOT more coming. One of the changes to my business is adding video fusion to my Portrait Sessions and Wedding Videos 🙂 They will be short clips of video. To me they showcase extra emotion and memories for my clients to share. I am in NO way trying to be a Videographer, I just want to add some extras for my WONDERFUL clients 🙂
So when you watch the video below, you will notice some small clips of video. This was my first test and I would love to hear what you all think. Many more will be posted within the following weeks 🙂
I think I have written enough today LOL. Please enjoy and thank you again for stopping by 🙂
